Prescriber Merge

Two Prescriber Folders can be merged using Prescriber Merge.

One prescriber is selected as the Target prescriber and that Prescriber Folder remains in the database. The second prescriber is selected as the Remove prescriber and is merged into the first prescriber, removing their Prescriber Folder from the database.

Once two Prescriber Folders are merged, they cannot be unmerged. Before initiating the merging process, validate that the two Prescriber Folders should be merged.

To merge prescribers:

1. Select > Merge > Prescriber. The Prescriber Merge window appears.

2. In the Target section, enter all or part of the prescriber's name in the Prescriber Name field. This Prescriber Folder will be kept in Propel Rx after the merge.

   

   For the Target prescriber, select the prescriber that has the most accurate information.

3. Select Search to search for and select the prescription.

4. In the Remove section, enter all or part of the prescriber's name in the Prescriber Name field. This Prescriber Folder will be removed after the merge.

   

5. Select Search to search for and select the prescriber.

6. Select OK. A confirmation prompt appears.

   

7. Select Yes.
